Valentines Day Treat | Rolo Slice/Brownie

A few weeks ago I wrote about how it is important to treat yourself occasionally. Well today I will be sharing the world famous (well famous amongst friends and family) rolo slice recipe. This has been a favourite at parties and get togethers. My aunty deserves all the credit for finding this recipe. This slice is so good that it even got a mention (or two) in my best friend's speech at my 21st.

Tomorrow is valentines day, since my boyfriend is all the way across the other side of the world this year, I am going to be giving these little bundles of deliciousness to my friends as a 'you're awesome' gift.

If you love baking but hate having it around the house (because you end up eating it all yourself) packaging it up and giving it away as gifts is perfect to ensure you are enjoying the treat in moderation. Other options for enjoying treats in moderation are freezing the baked goodies in small portion sizes or making single serve treats.

This recipe is not healthy! I figure if you are going to bake something chocolaty you might as well do it right. I think if you tried to make a healthier spin on this it wouldn't be near as good.
